MOBIL HOME - 6 Pers - LES CHARMETTES ****

The mobile home was a reasonable size and had all the equipment we needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly chose this accommodation because it offered air-conditioning which helped keep us cool overnight and meant we didn’t need to open the windows and be disturbed by external noise. The beds were also comfortable. We enjoyed the location of the mobile home which was in a quieter part of the park and the outdoor terrace was nice and spacious. The park itself had everything we needed (shop, takeaway, bar, pool, entertainment etc). We liked the location of the park for getting out and about in the local area. It was also walking distance to Luna Park which you can hear and see from the mobile home at night. Again the noise didn’t bother us because of the air-conditioning and keeping windows closed. Finally, Nathalie, our host was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

The mobile home was a bit dated, but seems to have been well maintained. The fridge freezer looks a bit old but worked well enough. Also the air conditioning unit stopped working on our last night. The kitchen area was quite small and while it was good that the mobile home had lots of kitchen equipment, this did limit the space available for storing food. We enjoyed the use of the two sun-beds, but these would have been more comfortable if cushions were provided. And whilst it didn’t really affect us too much, the location of the home was shaded for most of the day. There were a few occasions when the pool areas were overcrowded and we felt it was a shame that the pools shut quite early.
