NOMAD Hotel in Xàbia (Javea) was literally a dream! From the moment we arrived and was greeted by the sweetest, most friendly, smiley Alissia, I knew this surprise stay for my husband Mike’s upcoming birthday was going to be extra special! (And also taken care of by Alissia’s sister during the evening shift which sadly I forgot her name but also equally charming!).
Nomad is on the quiet side of the Xàbia coastline, near the port. When you walk in, you feel like you are arriving at a friend’s home. Not a traditional check-in desk or stuffy atmosphere. Instead a comfy sofa and/or table & chairs to sit and visit with your host as they take care of details. The lobby even includes a small shop with products or special finds for your purchase.
Our room #15 was on the 4th floor and featured a large balcony with large glass doors and window overlooking the sea and the pedestrian promenade so it was extremely quiet. Two chairs and a small table made it comfortable to sit and enjoy. The added treat was the spectacular SUNRISE!
A welcome basket awaited us with snacks and purified water. Also a welcome drink was offered in the lounge when we arrived. The room featured a large king size bed, super soft linens, a large walk-in shower with lovely natural lotions and soaps and a bathtub in our room! Amazing to say the least.
Room service is available but we walked down to get our own coffee/tea each morning of our two night stay. The chai tea and coffee sourced fair trade were amazing along with pastries for purchase. We didn’t eat in the onsite restaurant but the menu looked great. A breakfast is offered for a fee but we declined.
The added treat…a SPA onsite! We each had a 50 minute massage by the amazing Alma. Ohhhhh my is she a great masseuse! I definitely recommend her services.
There is also a rooftop bar, a swimming pool and a lovely terrace with lounge chairs to enjoy the views.
I am thrilled to have discovered NOMAD and will be returning many more...
