This house is beautiful, very spacious and in a wonderful location, however we didn’t feel very comfortable here and really couldn’t enjoy the rooftop deck. We became very concerned it hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived when we discovered the following: 1) in the main living room we discovered an M&M candy on the floor under the couch and when we picked it up it had a hair wrapped around it and we noticed additional dust and dirt on the floor. 2) The first night my brother went to take a shower in the upstairs hallway bathroom and discovered two areas of long hair on the walls of the shower and when he went to wash his face the black washcloth he pulled off the towel rack had hair in it and was dirty. He also found two long hairs behind the sink in this same bathroom. 3) After he informed me of this I decided to look in the master bathroom and also found a couple of hairs behind these sinks as well. 4) When I went to bed in the master bed I grabbed the pillows only to discover more hair. There were two long strands of hair on one of the pillow cases. 5) the second day I discovered dirt and the plastic piece from a price tag on the floor in the MB. The rooftop is shared by the carriage house so there is a specific schedule of times you can be up there and you can’t be up there past 9:00/10:00. If you are out during the day enjoying Fort Collins the only time you have to enjoy the rooftop and hot tub is in the evening but the hours are cutoff way too early so you can’t even go up and sit and enjoy the stars with a glass of wine without worrying about a harsh fine. They shouldn’t even have it. Way too many rules. There were also two bathrooms that didn’t have hand soap but was rectified immediately by the management company. For being a new build the inside was already pretty beat up and I was worried that we might get blamed for all the marks and knicks on the walls. We have stayed in other rentals in this same area several times and love these houses but I didn’t like the fact that I felt I was sleeping and showering in someone else’s filth. The management company did offer a small discount on our stay however I believe they should have waived the entire cleaning fee since it was obviously not cleaned. I also would have loved to enjoy the rooftop but too many rules and not open when we would have liked to use it.
