About this villa rental
Villa Oliva is a recently renovated contemporary 2 bedroom, 2 en-suite-bathroom home designed by renowned architect Francois Pecard. The villa is situated on the hillside of Saint Jean just five minutes from Saint Jean beaches, Nikki Beach and the famous Eden Rock Hotel. The villa features a private 10 meter (40 foot) long swimming pool, indoor and outdoor living areas for entertaining and relaxing in either shade or sun, and a Japanese garden with fountain and fish. The villa sleeps 4 people; 2 equally sized contemporary bedrooms and bathrooms featuring outdoor showers surrounded by tropical palms and foliage, state of the art air conditioning, and direct access to the pool and garden.
The indoor living area features a fully equipped Valcucina Italian glass kitchen and a 4 meter (12 foot) acacia live edge wooden table for dining for up to 10 people. The neighborhood is one of Saint Barth's most affluent and quiet residential areas, and is perfectly situated in the heart of the island. The villa is located just 5 minutes on foot down a hill to the amazing beaches of Saint Jean, the Eden Rock Hotel, Nikki Beach, and the restaurants and shops of Saint Jean. It's just 10 minutes by car to downtown Gustavia, Lorient (Surfer's Beach) and Saline.
The architecture of the villa is based on the traditional Saint Barth "windy hut", the contemporary design and influence made popular by the owner/architect Francois Pecard. The interiors are a mix of mineral (slate, cement ceramic floors, river rock) and wood and vegetation complimenting the minimalism of the architecture itself.
Outdoor and Indoor dining options were created to welcome family and friends seating up to 10.
Villa Oliva is our family home. As we frequently travel, we are happy to welcome guests who are looking for a calm, relaxing retreat. There is no television-just stars and nature, palms, cool water and sun to recharge. With respect for our neighbors, we ask that you refrain from loud parties and music. It's our desire to introduce the traditions of Saint Barth, the outstanding cuisine and its raw natural beauty to our guests.
