Relaxing Retreat on Lake Catherine in Hot Springs! Private Dock! Golf!

Very nice home on the water. Close enough to Hot Springs to run into town any time. My only regret was I didn't play golf at Diamond Head, which we passed every day. Looks like a beautiful course. Next time I'll bring my clubs.

Lori was a great host, the house was more than spacious to accommodate, and the view from the back porch was spectacular

This property has a beautiful and peaceful view of Lake Catherine. We seen deer every day. The property owner Lori was so easy to contact and answered almost immediately to any questions we had. Everyone loved this house and it’s amenities!! ❤️

Not only did the house live up to what we we're hoping for but so did the community. Gorgeous everything everywhere. The pictures of this property doesn't even do it justice. At night the fireflies look unreal. I'm from a beautiful part of Texas in the country. So peaceful I felt right at home. The kids loved the lake and we found lots of entertainment with in miles. Lori was a very lovely host.

This cabin is great for groups. Lots of space, lots of decks. Very clean and comfortable. Lori was very responsive and checked in to make sure all was well. Decent dock in a nice spot. Could use another fan or two, but it was unusually hot during our trip. Would recommend.

Property was clean and had some of the most beautiful views. Love how every bedroom had a deck over looking the lake.

We loved staying at this perfect house on the water for Spring Break. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us. The teenagers loved the pool table and hanging out on the dock. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware. Lori communicated frequently and was quick to respond to any questions. We highly recommend a stay at this property!

Great place out of town but not too far out. Perfect place to get away from all the noise of life and just relax. Only got to stay a short amount of time but will definitely be looking forward to staying again in the future! Thanks!

Awesome property and location. We enjoyed the large home and amenities. The pool table was awesome. Would love to come in the summer to use the canoe. Fishing was very convenient from the pier. Close to both hot springs and lake Catherine state park. Highly recommend.

We wanted a place to relax and escape hectic schedules. The seclusion was wonderful and the home layout was very accommodating. Enjoyed the pool table and outdoor area. The home was very clean and everyone agreed the beds were comfortable. Looking forward to another getaway stay.

We took my husband for Father's day weekend. Our three young adult sons came with us. We had so much fun. Fishing, Swimming, Golfing & playing Pool. The house was beautiful and the location was perfect on the lake. We would definitely rent again if we go back to Lake Catherine.

Our family spent a relaxing week here and the house is well laid out as we had 4 adults and 2 teens. It was comfortably furnished and Lori even left snacks for us which my grandson loved. We had everything we needed, we just had to buy groceries. We have rented a lot of houses over the years but never had a host as responsive and thoughtful about what her guests might want. We hope to go again soon.

Excellent communication from the owner, immaculate home (inside & out), they provided everything we needed and then some. This is a great property nestled right on the lake. The views are astounding & it’s 25 minutes from downtown Hot springs & an hour from Mount Ida. The hostess was very communicative & responsive. Everything we needed was there & it was clean & we had everything we needed! Such a great trip, we highly recommend!

Lovely home with plenty of space for a group. My husband and I stayed three nights just to getaway an relax. Great views of the lake on multiple decks. We made the most of sitting outside. Did a little fishing off the dock as well. Very quiet area in a Diamondhead. Home was clean and the host provided snacks as a surprise. Furniture was comfortable as well as the bed. Kitchen is well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. Can’t think of a negative thing today! Would love to go back!

The view from the deck is wonderful...Lake as far as the eye can see! The pool table was a big hit with the kids and adults. Great floorplan allows kids to have their own space. Only one suggestion: we couldn't find house numbers when we arrived...look at the end of the street beyond the black gates to find this gem.

Such a great property. Super clean and welcoming upon check in. Owner was super prompt on answering questions. The property is extremely quiet and peaceful. You have neighbors but can’t tell with the trees and space. It was a great fall getaway.

We couldn't have found a better place to get away and relax.

We enjoyed our stay, we loved the lake and all of the nature around us.

We got exactly what we wanted, and exactly what we thought we were getting based on the excellent description and property photos. This lake house was in a perfect lakefront location on a quiet street and felt completely private. The back of the house is lake oriented and you have excellent lake view from every landing - top decks outside the bedrooms, lower deck with enough room for a large gathering, mid-deck halfway down the slope to the water, and then the waterfront dock for swimming or tying up a boat. The house is lovely and very well appointed - plenty of towels and shower supplies, kitchen with gratuitous snacks, bottled water, coffee maker and basics so you can make it through your first night. The beds were all comfortable and the A/C was blessedly powerful to keep up with the summer heat. The waterfront is gorgeous and although there is boat traffic there are submerged trees at a distance from the house that help keep boats further out, so we had plenty of swimming and floating room from the dock. The town of Hot Springs is a beautiful 20-minute drive but there is an amazing little DiamondHead Community market right outside the gates of the neighborhood and the family that runs it keeps an excellent kitchen with great takeout food, breakfast, lunch and dinner, if you don't want to cook! Last important thing to say - Lori is an amazing host. She had everything set up and ready, communicated with us whenever we needed, and checked in via the messaging system just to make sure we were enjoying our time. We love this place, and we will be back!
