Ferienapartment At Home Ouranoupolis

La casa di Gaby aveva veramente tutto il necessario. Pulita, vicino all'ingresso di Ouranoupolis, con armadi, un letto comodo, un buon bagno, un terrazzino con vista mare, la lavatrice e la cucina attrezzata, oltre alla TV con canali satellitari per lo più in tedesco collocata in soggiorno. Per ragioni di ritardo nelle prenotazioni avevamo anche tre figli ormai cresciuti collocati in una pensione vicino ma Gaby ci ha detto subito che non c'erano problemi per cenare insieme a loro. Sistemazione ottimale per due persone.

The place is perfect from many points of view: spotlessly clean, great location close to the center and the beaches, and a beautiful view from the balcony. What impressed me most was the cleanliness — the apartment is as spotless as a pharmacy. It’s also very well-equipped, with everything you might need, both in the kitchen and the bathroom. Kokkinos restaurant is the best in town. We felt very comfortable and had everything at hand for a pleasant stay.

I wouldn’t say there are any real negative points, but there are a few things worth mentioning — things I personally would have appreciated knowing from previous reviews. 1. The apartment feels more like an AirBnB, surrounded by people who live there permanently, which gives it a different vibe than a typical hotel. 2. We were lucky to be able to use the beach of the abandoned Xenia hotel — it was acceptable, but not a serviced beach. 3. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially for less experienced drivers, you can see from the pictures. 4. The terrace has a beautiful view, but it’s too hot to comfortably use during the day. 5. The terrace is also not ideal to use very late at night, as you might disturb the neighbors. These didn’t negatively impact our stay, but they are good to keep in mind when booking.
