1. Location very good and quiet - very easy walk into town, and although the Old Town is no cars - it is a very short walk to the nearest road with your suitcase. 2. nicely decorated - rustic chic is the vibe but everything clean. 3. kitchen well equipped with washing machine, but could do with a couple more glasses.

A couple of minor things that could do with improving; 1. replacements / repairs need to be undertaken of minor things (soap dispenser / bathroom drawer / kettle) - i had to boil water in a saucepan. 2. the wall plug for the heater / air con is dodgy and does not inspire confidence so did not use. 3. it's very deep in plan, so very dark in the living room + bedroom - it is well lit by lamps but not much natural light. 4. the shower ventilates into the corridor, not sure that's a satisfactory arrangement. 5. the stairs into the bed loft could do with a handrail - if you sleep you fall to the living room at below ground level - and all stone/concrete stairs so could be painful. It's not for the less mobile. You also can't stand up - it's endearingly impractical, but some consideration needed. 6. more hooks are needed - on the bathroom door, and opposite the bathroom would be good. or a similar rail as they have in the living room, above the only window.

In a great part of town. It’s very pretty inside and fairly large. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, pans & plates and cups you need. The fridge is big and there’s a microwave, 1 burner and oven.

It’s very pretty inside, but rather impractical. There were no paper towels, or napkins or wash clothes…which made it hard to stay clean - or go buy your own. The place could really use a few hooks, since there’s no closet and there’s no place to even hang your coat. You can’t stand up in the loft, which is clear from the pictures, but I couldn’t bring my suitcase up there, so it doesn’t make sense to use the little dresser that’s up there. Clothes stayed in the suitcase on the floor under the stairs. The communication was bad. There’s no manual explaining how to use things, so if you’re not familiar with European electronics…it took me a lot of extra time trying to figure out how they work. The TV never did work and I emailed them to ask a few questions and never got a response. No one was in touch to check on me. There was a leak while I was there and a good amount of water on the floor and no paper towels, etc., so I mopped it all up with toilet paper. When I called to tell him about the leak, I said (in French)…my name, I’m staying at your apt in Antibe. His response was « yeah? » We talked more and he did fix it the next day, but no thank you for calling or for taking my vacation time to mop it up, spend time on the phone explaining it to him. No follow up call later to check in. There are notes around telling you lots of things to do and not to do. I felt unwelcome.
