This home's walls of glass and open back patio will give you an unobstructed view of the mountains and palm trees, visible just past the sunken living room and gas fireplace. The shared pool is just up the walkway out your back door where you can spend the day basking in the desert sun or take a soak in the private spa with your favorite beverage under the stars. (The pool is unheated) Prepare meals on the private BBQ or in the fully equipped kitchen. Every bathroom has an en suite bath, allowing for an even more glamorous experience.

Spend the day on Mt San Jacinto via the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway (just 17 miles away) where guests will ascend to over 8,000 feet to experience breathtaking views of the Coachella Valley. For the more adventurous, head to Indian Canyons hiking trails (11 miles from the home) for a hike through the desert and an oasis to reach spectacular waterfalls. In the evening, head to Agua Caliente Resort & Spa (less than five miles away) for dining, gambling, nightlife and a variety of shows.

I loved this house, and I am very, very picky. There were only a couple of issues. First, I thought from the photos that it had a private pool. My error? There was a shared pool that was (and has been unavailable ie, closed, to "owners" since March, 2020. ) This was not disclosed by Vacasa and should have been. Secondly, we couldn't watch network tv (via our Hulu account), because the bandwith was severely under-powered. So, for us, 4 nights, in relative seclusion (Covid), no tv. When we did get access to network tv, it kept stopping, buffering, playing, stopping, buffering, playing. stopping. stopping. This is not acceptible in these times.
That being said, the house is AMAZING, with a fabulous and iconic Palm Springs floor plan.
We were 4 family members (2 couples) traveling together. The house could easily acoomodate up to 10, although only 8 comfortably in bedrooms. Plus, plus.
The kitchen is large and well equipped. You will find plenty of dried herbs and spices, but the rest is "pot luck".
The location was very central, especially if you have no pre-conceived ideas of the area.
Also, we rented bikes which were delivered and collected during our stay, and we found the area to be quite bike friendly! We are in our mid 60's--our companions in their mid 30's, and the biking was very flat and quite safe. (Palm Desert Bike Rentals)
Let me reiterate, I am very picky, and I could definitely live here.
