Margate Seaside Retreat

The room was lovely and had everything you could need. The hosts leave milk, tea bags, coffee and biscuits in the kitchen area, and a margate rock stick on the bed. This was such a lovely touch. The room was very clean with a private little terrace patio out the back which caught all of the sun. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Enough towels left for two. It is located on between Westgate and Margate. We needed to get into margate and was easily able to from a short 20 min walk. Even though the property is behind the hosts house, it feels very private and nice. Reminded me of a nice beach chalet.

Mobile service is not the best in the area, but you can get some signal so not the end of the world.

Property was in a great location, easy walk into Margate Centre. Property was lovely and clean throughout, comfy bed. Was lovely to have the little courtyard patio area with doors opening to it to get some fresh air. Property was well equipped. Great little find. Peaceful location.

Only slight problem was I couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi, however I was out for the majority of the day so this really wasn’t a big issue. If I had have been in the property more, I would’ve contacted the owner who I’m sure would’ve been happy to help.

We loved staying here it is a beautiful space. The owners have clearly taken great care in making things perfect for guests, the decor is lovely and the small touches (tea,coffee, milk) were appreciated. The outside space was an added bonus.
