Le 2800 du Parc

Le 2800 du Parc is a fantastic place to stay, ideally located at the entrance of La Mauricie National Park and offering magnificent views over the Saint-Maurice River. The setting is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and provides an excellent base for exploring the region. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and everything went smoothly throughout our stay. Although we were hoping to spot a bear during our visit, no such luck this time!

The only minor downside was occasional noise from the road on the opposite side of the Saint-Maurice River. While it sometimes slightly disturbed the tranquility, it was a small inconvenience compared to the breathtaking view and overall quality of the stay.

The chalet was modern, comfortable with well thought out design and good quality mattresses and linens

The place is clean, new appliances, microwave, fridge and portable induction cooktop, does not have an oven though.at

It's not specified in the property page that we should bring our bed linens and towels. The host informed us before our arrival that we should bring our linens or order it for a extra fee to be payed upon arrival (15$+taxes per guest). As I was not prepared and came from another location I had to pay the fee ( almost 70$ ). Also they informed us prior to the arrival that we should bring drinking water as the water supply was not suitable for drinking because had a sulfur odor. It proved to be nearly impossible to use the tap water at all . It was difficult to take a shower or even wash dishes because of the strong smell. For cooking and brushing the theeth we had to use the drinking water we brought. The tap water has taste, color and a horrible smell.
