we had a nice time overall ( except for the above ) really appreciated the effort the owners had gone to. we would stay
lovely location,Nice property. plenty of room. very well stocked with equipment. pretty fairy lights and attention to detail. owner obviously cared….
the only thing that really let it down was the extremely STRONG smell of wet dog in (only ) the bedroom. very nearly turned around to go home. we had brought our own pillows duvet etc so slept on them. After opening windows/door it wasn’t as strong ( hubby slept in lounge as the smell affected his chest) by day 5 it was only faint. such a shame maybe the carpet needs changing and dogs not allowed in bedroom. there was no odour anywhere else at property.

great location ....nice but needs a re-vamp
the location is outstanding we have been going there for many many years. Plenty of walks and lovely sandy beaches.... sometimes you have the beach all to yourself.
the cottage is in a great location and lovey, but a little tired, the double glazed windows have gone looking all steamed and stained on the inside of the glass so looking out at the lovely views is misted by this. As for the rubbish collection the bins were full and heavy for us to takeout of the grounds to the end of the lane to where the bin men collected and with health problems made an attempt but failed ,with no phone signal could not contact the caretaker in time.... sorry.

Had a lovely stay here thanks to the location for walking etc,
Location good, Privacy good. General appearance & atmosphere of property good. Nice welcoming touches by property owner. Garden & outside facilities look great for a summer visit. Nice clear instructions regarding recycling & waste . Lots of interesting books & games. TV in lounge & bedroom, well equipped kitchen with full cooker. Good utility room with dishwasher , washing machine & freezer.
This property with its open plan design & open fire place in the centre looks the part but is very cold & draughty with poor windows & doors so if you are worried about your carbon foot print don't visit when its cold & windy you will need the heating on 24/7 The owners could save some money by improving insulation & fitting decent windows. On windy evenings all the curtains were moving & lots of noise from cooker vent blowing in the wind. Also despite two fridges running not one in the kitchen where it would be most convenient
