Incredible attention to detail

We stayed as a 3 generation family over the two pods. The pods were very comfortable, exceptionally clean and the outside area was flawless. We had a bbq (disposable) outside and the kids toasted marshmallows on the fire pit. Thank you Maggie, we do intend to be back.

Fantastic, luxury, relaxing break

This is my second visit, the pods are immaculate with very high quality and everything you need and more for a fantastic stay, Maggie is a great host and I am already looking forward to our next visit.

What a fantastic place!

Fantastic place! These cottages have everything you could possibly need! They're absolutely spotlessly clean, the neighborhood is quiet, and the owner is very friendly (she even provided a starter kit with milk for the kids!)! A completely hassle-free stay. One of the best places I've ever stayed!

Staying longer than a few days with 4 people in one house would be tiring... these pods are tiny :)

Maggie was a wonderful host, very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Communication and instructions were excellent. The pod is ideal for a little stay as it has everything you need.

Everything was fantastic. The pod is fully equipped with everything you need. The most makes delicious shortbread biscuits which you get to try. A great place to stay on the NC500. Electric charging station close by aswell as a continence store.

Proper glamping: luxurious, comfortable, relaxing, scenic and easy.

The site has two luxury pods well situated just off the NC500 in Lybster. Usefully, they offer one night stays which is perfect if you’re doing the route. We had a very comfortable one night stay in the Whaligoe pod. It is really well designed, with a luxury shower room and loo, and a very useable kitchen space, with basic kitchen implements: I was able to prepare an omelette. The double bed was spacious, and the clever use of mirrors and wall spaces made the pod seem quite big. It was a couple of miles yomp to Lybster Harbour which we did in the evening. We were blessed with fantastic weather and saw a magnificent sunset, and the owner says she has seen the northern lights on occasion. The owner herself was lovely and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. We would thoroughly recommend these pods if you’re doing the NC500. It wasn’t the cheapest but it was one of the best we’ve come across so far (and we’ve done a few).

No wi-fi, but this wasn’t an issue because there was 4G and we were able to buy more data.

Hidden Gem!

This was a great stay - Maggie the host sent clear instructions beforehand and it was clearly signposted. The pod itself was lovely and there was extra touches such as milk and cereal and guide with additional information! Cannot fault anything- thank you for a lovely stay! The local area had a shop and a pub down the road - there is also an electric car charger which was easy to use (unlike some - just tap your card). To note as I wasn’t aware there is a hob in the pod to use for cooking - we didn’t realise so could have utilised that more!

Exceptional 2 nights stay with the prefect host

Great location, very easy to get to. Maggie is a very welcoming host making you feel at home straight away. Facilities, Cleanliness and all the extra little details are perfect. The pod itself is extremely spacious and very comfortable, couldn't ask for more. Perfect ending to our trip away. If we are ever back up this way again we will be back.
