Great location and spacious, but no shop in the village
The proximity to the coast path: it is easy to walk from the house to Martin's Haven, and to take the boat to Skomer. The property is extremely spaceous and very comfortable. Runwayskiln is a great cafe on the loop to Martin's haven.
People should be aware that there is NO SHOP in the village of Marloes (nearest shop is 20 mins by car), and that there is only a small bleak yard for sitting out (contrary to information given). There are several beaches around, but you need to time it carefully, as they are only there for about 2 hours either side of high tide.

A lovely home in the perfect location
We have had a lovely week stopping here and the photos of the home do not do the place justice. This holiday home was 15 minutes walk to Musslewick Beach and a 35 minute walk to Marloes Sands. On the doorstep to a number of coastal walks and only a 5 minute drive (or 50 minute walk) to the Skomer Island jetty to see the puffins. Whilst Marloes is quiet in the day, there’s a cafe at Marloes Sands car park that is open all day, all year round that does lovely lunch time snacks. The property was well maintained with everything needed and we liked that the hosts allowed people to leave dishwasher tablets etc for the next guests.
This was advertised as sea views and we expected to be actually on the coast but there are only sea views on very clear days! Didn’t impact our holiday, but not as expected as we first turned up.

Pembroke coast is stunning as is this house.
beautiful sea views out the upstairs living room windows, 4 comfortable bedrooms, close to the coastal path, seals in the water. laundry room. parking. Marloe sands. Little/ no noise from upstairs floor boards in bedrooms.
Hard to find fault. Dishwasher too close to kitchen island and sink - had collisions on tidying up.
