Gîte familial 6 personnes climatisé, piscine partagée chauffée, proche Nîmes, Uzès, Pont du Gard, Cévennes

I absolutely loved our time at Gite Avignon and I honestly cannot think of anything I didn’t like! We wanted something that looked and felt French and this converted ancient property does just that, but with all the mod cons: pool, air conditioning, a barbecue (plancha) and a dish washer - essentials for a relaxing holiday in my book. Our hosts Dominique and Laurent were wonderful, very accommodating and helpful, and worked hard to ensure that the garden and pool were immaculate at all times. The location is perfect for exploring Nîmes, Uzès, the Camargue, Sete and that part of the world. One of our favourite days was borrowing the bikes from the gite and exploring the local vineyards. Of course we also drove to the wine farms to buy wine too! The local bakery was a morning highlight and the nearby supermarket had everything one needed. It provided the perfect opportunity for exploring and relaxing. I can’t wait to go back.
