Regina Ishigaki Ocean Yonehara / Two-Bedroom Villa

We were a family with different tolerance for beaches and outdoor activities so the pool came in clutch. Some of us went to the beach and explored while the others just wanted to dip in the pool. The property was far from the city center, which was the main draw for us because we don't like crowds. The closest beach was a 15-minute walk away or a 2-minute car ride. I personally loved the backyard, but the inside of the house was huge. The beds were comfy and the place had air-conditioning. The kitchen was also great because we did most of our cooking. The bathroom and amenities were wonderful. The staff was fantastic. They were great with communication before and after our stay, especially on the last day when problems came up. They also came on the first day to settle us in and explain some of the property rules. I would definitely love to come back again.

I wish we had access to the deck, but the property still had a beautiful backyard and outdoor sitting area to just chill and enjoy the views. If we'd rented a smaller car, I think the parking wouldn't have been a hassle, but otherwise, everything was great.

Beautiful location, really helpful owners, perfect pool temperature, BBQ was great, comfortable beds and a great shower. What more do you need in life :)

Nothing about the villa at all. We chose this place because of its location but also because it was good value for 6 people. This meant it was self catering and not in a hotel. It is remote and buses do not go often in Ishigaki. Do not believe web pages that say that the Didi taxi app works in Ishigaki! Make sure you have a phone on you to call and book taxis. Happy pedal bicycles are also a great option :)
