Village View Hostel

Issac was amazing - super helpful, lovely, easy to contact, and very efficient. There were a few issues when I arrived (no light and no kitchen use), but he got someone around to fix the light straight away, and the kitchen was up and running the next day. The highlight was the rooftop area, where the kitchen now is. It is a lovely space and breezy - a perfect place to people watch and someone to cool off during load shedding. The location is a 15-minute walk to the beach and there are lots of shops, food stalls, and supermarkets just outside the front door. There is a delicious coffee shop 1min walk away as well. The accommodation is basic, but it fits the purpose, and we enjoyed our stay!

Not much space to sit on the toilet and the main front door was tricky to open - definitely ask to be shown how to do it before you leave for the day.

The room is clean and there is a kitchen and a nice roof top area.

Unfortunately I had problems with the key opening the door many times. Room name „Sulman“. The guesthouse is right next to the main road and there for very noisy. You won’t sleep longer than 6 am due to the motorcycles. The shower also didn’t get hot.
