lovely welcoming and friendly hosts and the home was also warm and cosy with everything we needed.

lovely homely cottage and friendly animals to see - the cottage had a fully enclosed garden which was safe for our dog to be outside

some local walks identified in the blurb would be a bonus. the bathroom was dated but clean and fully functional, the hot water for a bath was limited at night as I expect it heated up overnight so the morning would have been fine.

Heavenly stay with animals in the Welsh countryside

The best little cottage! Excellent facilities in terms of cooking/ bathroom. Beds were comfortable and the hosts were so lovely! We very much enjoyed being part of the farm. Loved the breakfast. TV was awesome.

A weekend of relaxation.

The cottage is situated in a quiet location, well away from a busy main road and the hustle and bustle of life. Exactly what we were looking for. Here you can just relax and chill. The cottage is very private surrounded by trees and bushes. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable, and well-equipped for your stay. The owners Joyce and Alan make you feel very welcome and provide you with a welcome pack on your arrival. The pastries were lovely. A bonus was the accommodation welcomed pets, and the garden was secure enough to allow our puppy to wander around and explore. The cottage is set in a small holding with Joyce and Alan owning donkeys, alpacas, hens and geese, not forgetting the sheep. The Comfy Cottage Healing was a good find on Booking.com. And we will be visiting again.

There was nothing that we didn't like, and didn't mind the early alarm clock with the Cockerell waking you up.

Location. It was quiet and the countryside is beautiful.

Bedding needs attention and the mattress protector replacing. Wicker laundry basket with the towels in needs replacing. The beds prevented the bedroom door from shutting. No curtain at one of the small windows in the dinning area.

Lovely place to take kids for a little break.

Lovely little cottage with animals all around for the kids. It was safe for kids to run around while we relaxed. We had everything we needed. The staff were lovely. It was so comfy. I didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back.

A home from home 😁

We honestly couldn’t have been happier with our stay at the cottage. We were welcomed with open arms by the owners and immediately felt right at home. The cottage was warm and gave us an incredible homely feeling as well as making us instantly relaxed after our journey down there. If you are an animal lover then this is the place for you as the couple have a variety of animals on site that you can enjoy living amongst during your stay. All in all I can’t thank the couple enough for making our stay so amazing 🙏🏻

Lovely relaxing stay.

The cottage was so warm and cosy. Facilities were good. Stocked with everything you would need including, tea, coffee, butter and wrapped up pastries upon arrival - nice after long journey.Setting was gorgeous. The hosts were very accommodating. To wake up and see the animals from the doorstep was delightful! I would definitely stay there again.

Definitely need a car if staying there as it's not near the town.

Cozy cottage set in a beautiful location

What a beautiful little cottage in the middle of the countryside, just perfect for a relaxing stay. We had a very enjoyable time here and thank you Alan and Joyce for the welcoming cakes that you left for us, it was very much appreciated

Perfect cottage surrounded by nature! Joyce and her husband were so friendly and made us feel very welcome! The cottage was clean and cosy and has everything you need! Loved waking up to the sounds of the cuckoos and going out to say good morning to the alpacas, donkeys and sheep!! Thanks so much for having us!

Wow, a beautiful compact apartment, with everything you need for a mini break - and a nice welcome pack too, Hosts were very pleasant and welcoming. The animals were just adorable to watch, Chickens, Hens, Ducks, and a couple of Lamas, Donkeys & Sheep as well as a friendly cat, the picnic bench over looking the animals pens was a tranquil place to while away some down time with either a cuppa tea of a cool beer. The closest village/shops/pubs is a short drive away, but the location is a great base to explore out from.

really cold room

really cold cottage n not heating to warm rooms my children felt really cold over night n couldn’t sleep,wasn’t enough to covered ourselves for sleeping not enough blanket or pillows or beds n was really smelly, I n my son got cough Bcz of strange smell . bcz of cold n couldn’t sleep my voice gone. we were hesitant to use toilet Bcz of door. cooker is really old it’s really difficult to use . need to update lots things. carpet really smelly n dirty. so not recommend at all for anyone

The most perfect stay ❤️

Absolutely everything. The cottage was perfect and so were the surroundings. The cottage is owned by a lovely husband and wife, they were great hosts. We were joined onto their home which is also on their own private farm and land. We were woken up to donkeys, sheep, alpacas, geese and cats. We couldn't have asked for more. The location is beautiful and surrounded by fields. There's absolutely no light pollution so by night time the stars are shining bright, it was stunning. My 2 children just loved it and we will definitely be back again. We stayed for February half term. Thank you so much ❤️
