Quiet and away from city. Wonderful assistance and help. Everything was available. Even gave us a bottle of wine and wood.
One room needs new beds.

Sterrenhemel is a working farm bordering the Orange River, and we loved the peace and quiet, the surrounding nature and the gentle rhythm of farm life. The cottages are comfortable and well equipped, although do note that there is no Wi-Fi, which for us was part of the charm. Our hosts were generous and genuinely lovely people who made us feel very welcome. If you need a break from the stresses of daily life and the constant pull of being connected, switch off your cellphone and spend a few days close to the earth, and to people who hold the earth close.

It would be nice to have a broom and mop
