Definitive department for the definitive seaside holiday

The pictures do not lie: This is one of those quintessential dream accommodations. You could wander for hundreds of miles to the furthest edges of the suburbs for a comparably regal sea view, and then pay two to ten times the amount, but you‘ve got it all here, smack bang in the centre, a literal hop away from the beach, and at an unbeatable price. And the vistas really have that classic, gorgeous picture book quality: The framing is just perfect, with Corfu looming tantalizingly across the strait, and the typical Mediterranean vegetation adding splashes of cholorphyll. I could wax lyrical about how the furnishings of the apartment strike just the right balance of looking modern and unobtrusive and at the same time welcoming, but in truth my eyes were permanently glued to the view. The balcony was my happy place - the whole place just oozes perfect holiday vibes. Most things in life that seem too good turn out not to be true; this is a rare exception.

Prime location, literally beach entrance is right next to the building. Everything was top notch! Fully equipped apartment.

A great stay, we look forward to coming back

The location is ideal, close enough to the centre but far enough not to be disturbed by noise at night, we managed to get restful sleep. Several daytime beach clubs are at the doorstep. Close to big supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops. The view is unmatched. The bed is made every day, clean towels changed regularly. The host is very responsive, and they are available almost always. The housekeeper forgot to replace our towels once, we messaged the host and he came over in 5 mins!

The only flaw is the bathroom. There’s no door between the shower area and the rest so after each shower the whole bathroom is flooded and slippery.

The staff were rude and very deceptive. They took us to a different apartment close by and did not apologize, instead, they told us we can wait outside if we do not like the place. When we tried telling them that this was not the apartment we paid for, they started raising their voices. They gave us a completely different apartment. We paid for a sea view, but they gave a side sea view. You think you’ll get the apartment you see on this page but they would tell you it is sold out. This is sea horizon vsl but they took us to salty breeze apartment.

Perfect location to explore Sarande

Very close to amazing beach bar which we went to everyday, accessible to local shops and restaurants. €10 taxi into central sarande , would take around 15 mins to walk. Large apartment, gorgeous sea view, really lovely hosts who allowed an earlier check in.

Amazing

“The accommodation is wonderful, with an excellent view of the sea. The bed is very comfortable, and the one in the second bedroom as well—my daughter slept very well. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the street itself is amazing, full of bars and restaurants. Just one street behind is the beach. “I highly recommend it and will definitely come back. The hosts were also very welcoming, and we had no issues with check-in. Everything was perfect — 10 out of 10!”

This is an absolutely wonderful apartment.

Location was very convenient with only a short walk to the town and restaurants. The apartment had an amazing view of the sea and coastline.

Unfortunately, rowdy neighbours next door who were singing and laughing outside on the balcony at 2.30 am.

Great stay in Sarande

The apartment is simply perfect. Waking up every morning with that view is magical. Location is great, 5 mins walk from the port and 10 mins from the boulevard (restaurants and bars). Quiet area, away from traffic and noise. Very nice host

- Table and chairs in the room were wobbly, unable to use - Poor soundproofing, could hear the neighbours next door chatting/singing from tha balcony and main entrance - Got woken up at 8:30am by construction noise (I think they are expanding and adding new rooms). This is not acceptable

Amazing view and clean room

We stayed here for a couple of nights and the room was exactly as the photos. The room was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable; plus the sea view was so nice and peaceful! The room is nice for a short stay since it also had a microwave and small fridge. It is in a quiet part of town which means we got good sleep, yet it is also within walking distance to everything you need! Although it is a little bit of a walk (15-20 minutes) to the Saranda promenade, we did not find this to be an issue since we loved walking and exploring. The hosts were also very quick at responding and helped us with recommendations on where to park our car

A little piece of paradise

Overlooks the beach with beautiful views , simply stunning , sliding doors to a big balcony where you can relax into the evenings, location is great if you don’t want to be in the hustle and bustle but only a 10-15 min walk into the main strip of Sarandë

Good place to enjoy the south of Albani

The room was amazing and naturally the views are the highlight. But the room was well equipped, recently renovated - a very cozy and confortable space. It is also in a good place in Saranda, close to the port and the best restaurants, a little bit away of the most confusing part.

Accommodation in a good and quiet place, the beaches are a few steps away and the city center is not far. Beautiful sea view, everything was clean, new. The room was even cleaned once. Highly recommended.

Maybe I would have appreciated more comfortable seating on the terrace, where there was only a flimsier folding seating.

The view and confort are very good. The location also is very good, in short walk distance is easy to get into the city center.

Absolutely loved our stay at Sea Horizon suite, and the amazing view of the sea

It was love at first sight… the view, the sparkling clean apartment, the comfortable beds, the two separate bedrooms for the children and the parents… having breakfast on the balcony looking at the sea, watching the waves, the boats… There is a beach right in front of the building but we preferred different ones that are more secluded that we drove to, I appreciated that one day before arriving I asked about a microwave for warming my baby’s milk and by the time we arrived it was set up in the kitchenette. Loved that we could walk to the port in the evening, the many different restaurants, a grocery store next door… I highly recommend it!t

The only thing that we had trouble with was the fact that there wasn’t enough hot water for 4 people to shower one after the other. Good thing there was a person in the group that showers with cold water.

The view from our room was absolutely magnificent, offering breathtaking scenery throughout our stay. The staff was attentive and provided excellent service, ensuring my needs were met.

Although the shower had a minor issue, we were able to work around it. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its stunning views and great hospitality.

Good location, close to the port and city centre. There is a public beach, restaurants & couple of beach bars next to the flat. Apartment was clean, with a great view as in the description. We had a very nice time at Vsl Suites & apartments. The view was amazing, we could get down to the beach in just 2-3 minutes and everything else was close by. The personal was very friendly.

So sorry to say that but the hotel is just like a ghost house. All in the dark, with no reception, no staff, and no one living in the building. The location is not very well, far away from the central. Their staff will not welcome you and give you the keys or anything, but they will knock on your door in the early morning several times because they can not charge fees from the account we provide for booking.com as other hotels do, even bank transfers.

Recommended, decent location with great rooms.

As soon as you walk into the apartment you are welcomed with the most amazing view. The room are new bright and clean. The host is a lovely lady, her English isn't the best but google translate got us through. She maintains the rooms to a very high standard. The apartments were perfect for our short stay. We were able to check in early due to early arrival via port from Corfu. If travelling via port the hotel is a walking distance from the port. There is plenty of shops cafes bars on route and local. You have a choice of many little local supermarkets too. Defo visit Ksamil and the beaches they are simply out this world and not to be missed. The Blue Eye is well worth a visit, see pics.

We had 2 hire cars and the there is no hotel own parking it's just on street parking, just need to find a spot. There isn't actually any direct access to the beach in front of hotel it's all privately owned by others. So, we were unable to go to this short beach front. To be fair it's a rocky small beach so no point. Visit Bora Bora beach in Ksamil for the best sandy white beach, see pics you won't be disappointed. There is no cooker in the rooms just a heads up if you're expecting to be able to make breakfast in your room this will be a no go. Owners did however give us alternative room to use kitchen in. Do not hang anything over balcony to dry as if it falls off you won't be able to get it as everything is locked and private, luckily, we had our son who jumped over the wall round the back to collect his swimming costume. The hotel does not accept credit card payments on arrival as they do not have a credit card machine or facility to take payments at hotel. We had to arrange for online bank transfer to a UK account after a few failed attempts to a euro account. This was OK for us and the contact with owner is quick and efficient via booking.com messenger. Thanks.

a little out of town. 15 min walk if you are healthy. bit hard for my 73 year old mother and peak season taxis charging 2,000 Lek for the short distance
