Very good overnight stop8u

Beautiful house and gardens. Greeted on arrival by Marie & Bernard and shown around. Apartment is an annex to their house with good facilities. The bed was comfortable and the extensive breakfast spent with our hosts was exceptional. Parking was secure with electric gates. The property is close to the A71 motorway a little out of town. Recommended.

Overnight stop on our journey through France. Lovely, comfortable space to rest up just off our route. Marie and her husband are so warm and welcoming and really seem to enjoy having people stay. The little unit was spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable. Quiet, relaxing and we enjoyed a beer on the patio for sunset. Marie’s breakfast in the morning was delicious, varied and prepared with so much thought and care. We would love to stay again if in the area.

Considering the language barrier (we spoke no French and our hosts spoke no English - thank goodness for google translate) it was the most welcoming home. Our hosts were very sweet and the accommodations were very good, including a delicious breakfast. If you are American and want a great B & B experience where your hosts sit down with you and talk, this is your place.

It was a plesiour to stay at Marie's and her husbands place. We enjoyed there company: Both were very friendly and helped us a lot. For example we could leave our car during our bike-trip at their forecourt. The flat was very clean, with good WLAN and also the breakfast was great.

The breakfast was wonderful with home made cakes, jam and pancakes. The hosts were fantastic and there was great attention to detail with lots of extras including chocolates and a great great variety of hot drinks in a good machine.

A little gem

Friendly welcome, very clean throughout, adjustable bed. Good location for stopover on our way south, not many minutes from the A71 but quiet. The restaurant we went to was about 3km away but as it was a sunny evening we walked there and back, partly along the river.

The property was located very close to the Autoroute junction but far enough to be very peaceful. Very clean and tidy with good facilities. Comfortable bed. And the breakfast was enormous too much focus to eat.

Marie und Bernard sind äußerst gastfreundlich. Sie freuen sich einfach über Gäste und das spürt man. Das gemeinsame Frühstück mit ihnen sollte man nicht verpassen! Sie waren in allen Situationen hilfsbereit. Auch als wir mit dreckigen Rädern von der Radtour zurückkamen und nach einem Eimer mit Wasser, Spülmittel und einem Schwamm gefragt haben.

Leuke, comfortabele plaats als tussenstop voor een doorreis. Ligt op 2 km van autostrade, dus ook heel praktisch.

Hartelijke ontvangst van de verhuurders. We kwamen later aan dan de inchecktijd, maar dit was geen probleem. Ook het ontbijt was dik in orde en flexible wanneer we het ontbijt konden nemen.

Bijzonder aangename tussenstop, echt het aanbevelen waard!

Zeer gastvrije ontvangst met een drankje. Bijzonder aardige mensen die er alles aan doen om ons (korte) verblijf een hoogtepunt van de vakantie te laten zijn. Dicht bij de snelweg A71,makkelijk te bereiken. Ze gaf ons de tip om te gaan eten bij Restaurant "La Laurendiére" Dit verblijf en restaurant is echt een aanrader.
