Southern Hills Cabin Near Beavers Bend State Park!

The location. Very peaceful

It didn’t have pots and pans for cooking and the WiFi kept going off and on

The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the location and views very much.

The cabin could use some updated cookware. There was no skillet, except a very old electric one that only partially worked. Also, we had to remove the area rug in the living room due to it being a trip hazard to elderly people with us and it was very dirty under the rug. Due to the amount of steep stairways, would not recommend to older visitors. The "Nest" thermostat was very difficult to use. The temperature was either freezing or too warm. (This is common with Nest thermostats everywhere I have ever used one)

Location Porch that faces the road

Beds were hard and pillows were to soft with the exception of the top bedroom No dish towels- had to go buy some Very few dishes and no broom/mop Cabin was very cold. Temp remained around 67-68. We would bump up the thermostat and it would mysteriously go back down. Don’t know if the host was controlling it from their phone or what. Hot tub was not available to use Grill has a hole in it. Had to buy foil to cover the hole before using Chairs on the patio need to be replaced. They have holes in them and they are very uncomfortable
