Great view

A lovely spot. The house is under the rock which is not lit up at night which we liked. Great view from the terrace.

Not super easy to find. The beds could be comfier and I hope the owner buys some mattress toppers or something. Max 4 people, we were just 2 in 2 rooms, certainly not very comfortable for 5 or more people so stick to 4 or less if you book this place. Otherwise, it's a very nice stay.

Wonderful spot!

Lovely spot. The host was very quick to reply to any questions we had. Nice parking area across the street. It was a quick and easy drive out to Meteora. Very nice view from the balcony.

It was a little tricky to find at first, but that was only because my directions got mixed up. No complaints!

Peaceful and central

We loved being so close to the huge rocks of Meteora. The accommodation is walking distance from the centre of Kalambaka and the train/bus stations. A peaceful, clean, beautiful place to stay - and we appreciated the aircon! Rooms were a great size too. Big enough for a family with three kids at least.

Our one night stay at The house under the rocks of Meteora

The place is located on the outside of the city, out of the busy area. But you can still walk to the centre where there are plenty of restaurants. It is clean and has everything you need, it has plenty of space. It was also easy to find with the directions we got.

Loved the place

We loved the location - a quiet, comfortable neighborhood with an amazing view from the small terrace. The apartment was modern, spotless, and well-equipped for everything we needed. Parking was available right across the house, on the street. Plus, it was just a short walk to local restaurants and about 10 minutes from the town center.

We only wish we had stayed longer.

Magic. Awesome views and comfortable place to stay.

Sizable 2 bedroom apartment suitable for a family or a couple. Lots of utensils in kitchen, use of washing machine and hot water. Terrific view of rocks with a patio area. Easy parking. 10 to 15 minute walk to square with restaurants. Living room area to watch tv. Coffee available. Very good value.

Liked everything except contact info; luckily the housekeeper was in the unit when we arrived. Terrific place to stay.

Love that the host took the time to check on us. Awesome to have, coffee, sugar, milk and water! Also, towels and pillows were comfortable. Nice heating on the house, recommended!

Perfect getaway to explore Meteora. Loved waking up to this glorious view! The apartment had everything we needed as a family of Three for a 4-night stay! Katerina and her mum were very helpful and responsive! Thank you!

I hadn't noticed it while browsing the description (it is listed of course) but there was only heating through A/C. We dont love a/c but it was decent for warming the flat.

Lovely stay in Kalambaka, at base of Meteora.

Location was good. View was superb. Lovely host who responded to queries quickly. Well equiped apartment , the washing machine was very useful. Heating was needed and provided for the time we stayed there.

It rained on day we arrived, so could not go on walks around the area, fortunately we booked 2 nights n the next day was dry although cloudy. If you can, please stay at least 1 or 2 nights there to appreciate the Meteora area without having to rush( some tours take you around the area in 4 hours only)

The house was very clean. It was close to the center of the city. The view of Meteora from the windows of both rooms was magnificent. The owner was also very friendly. I highly recommend the property to everyone.

2nights in Kalambaka, Meteora area.

Location was great, walking distance from train station. The view from the place was awesome. Very comfy apartment which was well equipped. The washing machine was so useful. Host was very helpful, replied to queries quickly, she allowed us to check in a bit earlier as we had arrived.

The walk to the apartment from the train station was 15mins , sloping upwards.It would have been rather difficult if we had heavy luggage/ big suitcases.( Would then need to take taxi) Weather was rainy first day we arrived so we couldn't do the hike we initially planned to. Good to stay at least 1 night, better if 2 or 3nights to see the monasteries at leisure. Each monastery is closed at least one day a week, so you would miss one or 2 of the 6 open to public if only had 1 day to see everything.The whole area of Meteora is breath taking, deserves a couple of days to appreciate.

Great location right near the hiking path under the rocks. Comfortable and clean apartment with plenty of room for 2 of us. There was free parking available on the street. Only brief interaction with the managers of the property on check-in and check-out, but they were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Had to turn on a water heater 40 minutes before having a shower in order to get hot water. Only a minor inconvenience in an otherwise lovely stay!
