It is close to the ADO station as well as the buses that drive to the Zona Hotelera (ask the staff). It has plenty of options to eat around and the rates are very cheap. The staff at the reception desk was helpful. The room was quite big (I was only one person and had 2 beds).

I was not hoping for luxury in any way when I booked this room, just a nice clean room. However, it was really a let down. The beds were made with duvets that had no cover and there were minor stains on the bedsheets. The bathroom was rusty, especially the floor of the shower. The drain was also smelling really bad. The worst for me was the noise. You can hear everything from the street (I was on the first floor with no windows, the noise was coming from the main entrance) and there are people speaking really loudly throughout the night. There was a dad screaming to his daughter at 7 am from one floor to another. On top of that, as much as I like reggaeton, it was blasting from the reception at 8-9 am, so you can’t really sleep past that time. There was also this really loud noise coming from the pipes in the bathroom at random times that would wake me up, and I’m not talking about water noise, it seemed like the pipes were going to explode. Overall, I slept 2 nights and I would not last any more.
