Yumi Chalés Ilhabela

O Chalé é bem equipado, com tudo que precisamos para realizar nossas refeições, principalmente porque estavamos com crianças.

O estacionamento na verdade são vagas em frente ao local do chalé, e são insuficientes, precisando ficar na rua, mas mesmo assim não tivemos problemas, foi tudo bem.

Ao chegar, lugar limpo e organizado, a vista da área da piscina é muito linda.

The host was very friendly and responded quickly to our questions, and the view from the swimming pool was amazing. Having breakfast at the tables near the pool overlooking the sea and forest was a highlight. The hotel is located on top of a hill with stairs leading to the main road, which takes you to Praia do Portinho (not exciting but with a nice sunset) and to Praia da Feiticeira (beautiful but more busy).

MAKE SURE YOU BOOK THE RIGHT ROOM! We saw the hotel pictures and assumed all rooms had hammocks and ocean views, which was not the case. We booked a small, humid room with a view of the stairs. While it was my mistake for not checking properly, one can be easily misled by the pictures on Booking.com. There was not much space to move around or hang clothes to dry (important after coming from the beach or pool). Also, while some restaurants and beaches are within walking distance, the city center is about a 30-minute drive away, which can easily cost R$70 one way with Woptin (the local Rideshare app - like Uber).
