Convenient easy and close enough to the lake and town.

Too expensive for an old house

Location

Old house , not clean although there was expensive charge for cleaning, $44 charge because of location in gated park community although was not shown on Booking when rented the property. Kitchen is old, beds not comfortable and linens are old and not in good shape

This cabin was awesome! Host was super nice and the location is excellent. Small little beach nearby which was conveniently located. Great for big or small groups as the rooms were spacious and the area was quiet. Would definitely reccomend this cabin for a getaway or a visit to yosemite.

Good location, but very outdated cabin

• location is great for visiting Yosemite. • Restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store all close by.

We only booked the cabin the morning of check in day, so admittedly it was a little last minute, however when we arrived around 5pm, we couldn’t get in. Long story short, the door code had not been updated to the one we were emailed. We stayed 3 nights, and although the cabin was comfortable enough, there were a few things that could definitely do with improvements. - $42 parking fee was a little excessive. - There is a cleaning fee of $175 which is a little hard to swallow when you don’t receive the cabin in a “clean” state in the first place. (superficially clean yes, but when you look close you can see where it’s lacking) *Dust on most surfaces (see pictures) * Bad smelling, yellowing pillows (see pictures) * Dryer still had the previous guests bedding all bundled up. (see pictures) * Dryer filter had a thick wad of lint still in it. (See pictures) * Fly screen was hanging off (see pictures) - The cabin boasts a “river view”, its more like a stream. If you didn’t know it was there you might not even notice it. - There were no instructions on how to operate the TV, washing machine or dishwasher. - All sorts of random junk on top of the fridge, in the laundry room and in the drawers (including leaking batteries) Just didn’t give a very homely feel. Conclusion: overall, its a good location, and its a spacious cabin so would be perfect if you are a large family, however we felt it was very out dated and just didn’t feel very homely.

Superb

Jessup's cabin is located within a secure gated community. But we were charged an additional amount for the temporary pass. This location is close to the Groveland downtown . The downtown has a nice museum and library. Food is good at Pizza Factory. We enjoyed our stay here.

The switches are not conveniently located. But it could also be that we did not search for them properly. One of the nails on the door was risen by an inch which can hurt if stepped upon. Just needs some hammering.

Location was convenient. It was a last minute booking. Host let us stay for a night inspite of 2 night policy.

House needs lot of updating. Beds, bedding, towels old. It would’ve been nice to have tea/coffee available to make. Had to go to the store in the morning to pick up stuff. Parking entry fee too much.

La cabaña es hermosa, cálida familiar cómoda. Faltó un poco más de aseo en la cocina para ser perfecto. La nevera estaba algo sucia y una de las camas pensamos que no era sábanas limpias. Por lo demás fue una experiencia buena.

Aseo de cocina, toallas del baño estaban usadas. Y sábanas de una de las camas igual parecía usada.
