CoffeeBunk Hostel

Fantastic place, fantastic people. You can feel the love Dany and the rest of the staff put on everything they do: the decoration, the coffee (grew addicted to that coconut latte), the food (tasty toast was my fav!), their disposition to interact and to help anyway they can... This is why I go to hostels: not only for budget-friendly options (which this is as well), but also for the humane and home-like feeling. Thanks for everything, and I'll be waiting for your visit in Spain :).

Jakarta is not the most touristic place in Indonesia, but that's not a fault of the hostel jajajaja.

So clean and calm, specially their staff is so good, humble and kind and welcoming.

Security

Dany is a great host and helped me with learning the local language and answering my many cultural questions. The coffee and tea here is artisianally made and top notch. Atmosphere is very chill, with an in house guitar, playstation, books, and games. Nice choice of spaces for socializing, focus, or fresh air. The river and traditional markets are nearby walks too if you want an immersion into the local culture.

The traffic can be rather loud, and the immediate street hard to cross, but such is Tangerang city. The tile floor has aged, but otherwise nice aesthetic and cool art.
