Seehotel im Weyer

Nette und freundliche Gastgeber.

We enjoyed a spacious room with a large terrace and an amazing view of the Traunsee (sunset included). The bed was super-comfortable, and overall the hotel was quiet (which is good). Good accessibility by car and public transport, Gmunden town centre is reachable on foot in 10 minutes or so:)

Our only and main concern was the breakfast buffet, which, despite being elegantly served, does not include any warm options like sausages or scrambled eggs. I got the impression that it was more about how the food looks rather than the variety. Later, at the checkout, I was told that we could have asked for a specific dish, but I'm still not sure whether this is true - at the very least, this opportunity is not communicated to the guests

Our suite had a comfortable bed & 2 terraces with lovely views. The breakfast was dellcious, with loads of healthy options. The owners, & the staff, were really friendly, helpful & seemed to genuinely enjoy taking care of their guests.

We stayed in the hotel in the middle of an extreme heat wave, so air-conditioning would have been nice! But the lake breeze at night, with the windows open, did help. There were affordable parking possibilities very nearby, but on-site parking would have been easier!

Very nice and accommodating hosts and staff. Clean,modern and within easy walking distance to central parts of Gmunden. A very extensive breakfast buffet.
