Dar ta' Betta Farmhouse with private pool

The house was really lovely, exactly as the photos show, really comfortable and very tastefully decorated, modern bathroom and kitchen. Beds are super comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped for preparing food and eating at home. Would have loved a dishwasher in the kitchen, that would have made it perfect! Hosts were lovely, great communication before arrival and dropped by through the week to make sure all was ok. Aircon worked great. Pool is a good size for a family of 4 - quite deep though so need to keep an eye on smaller kids. Pool gets the sun until about 430 ish in the afternoon. Good supermarkets and a couple of nice restaurants nearby. Great base for exploring Gozo.

None of the following can be resolved by the hosts but some things to be aware of when booking - We found the on street parking was a little tricky some days. The rubbish collection comes very early each morning - it needs to be left out at 6am each day, very early start when on holidays. The surrounding area is quite noisy...there was a lot of building work going on nearby, fireworks most nights, and the bells from the church nearby went hourly for pretty much the entire stay. The first night they rang constantly for approx 45 mins and then very loudly through the night. I assume it was a local feast night or similar. We may have just been unlucky with our dates.

Beautiful villa with lots of character. Good size swimming pool though is deep so make sure little ones who can’t swim have arm bands. Very spacious. Great hosts who very attentive and easily accessible by phone or message. Beds very comfortable and clean kitchen and bathroom. Would definitely visit again. Great area. Close to a few restaurants to walk to. I enjoyed my morning runs to major Gozo landmarks- gammer hill, wied il-melia and the inland sea. We also got a taxi in to Victoria for €10 each way so we both could have a drink. Saw a beautiful sunset at dwerja too. Ideal location.

Our stay at Dar ta' Betta exceeded all our expectations! The entire experience was completely stress-free, as everything was organized to perfection. What impressed us the most: - Flawless logistics: The airport transfers to and from the villa were organized seamlessly. Everything was punctual, comfortable, and completely hassle-free. - Car waiting at the door: The best surprise welcomed us upon arrival – our rental car was already parked right outside the villa, ready for us to hit the road. No waiting in lines or wasting time! - Stunning villa: The villa itself is simply beautiful. The ambiance, cleanliness, amenities, and overall vibe are all top-notch. It’s clear that a lot of care and effort goes into every single detail. Luisa and the entire team made this an unforgettable holiday. If you are looking for a place with world-class service and a gorgeous setting, this is the perfect choice. We cannot wait to come back!

Wat een prachtige plek om te mogen verblijven! De locatie is erg sfeervol ingericht en ook om te koken is alles aanwezig. Het was perfect schoon. Wat fijn dat er een kleine winkeltje op 1 minuut lopen zit om wat boodschappen te kunnen halen. De kinderen vonden het zwembad fantastisch, en ook eind april ging dat prima qua temperatuur. Beetje frisjes, maar dat hield ze niet tegen. We vonden de sfeer op Gozo ook heel fijn, net wat rustiger dan op Malta.
