Near Lakes, Bay & Trails! Historic Waldoboro Gem

The house is very cozy & cute & has a big, open yard & fields beyond. It had everything we needed. Great laundry room & facilities. The family room is very quaint. Fun for games and movies. The beds are comfortable. A good location to many sea ports & villages. We enjoyed Camden, Rockland, & Rockport. We did a whale/puffin cruise out of Boothbay Harbor. The instructions for check-in/check out were very simple. The house is very clean & just a great place to be. Wish we could have spent more nights here, but we needed to move more north on the Maine coast for other attractions.

There was a scented plug-in when we arrived that was very strong. We just turned it off while we were there. A shower upstairs would be helpful, but not a huge issue for us.

Clean and roomy…eat in kitchen is roomy as well- laundry room was great! Master bed on first floor. Owner is responsive and check in and out was easy and instructions clear.

It is a 1.5 bath- not two full- but we made it work. The stairs are steep to 2nd level which may be an issue for some.

So beautifully kept up!!! Very clean. Beds were so comfortable. Convenient location to markets, restaurants and main road.

Comfortable beds and sofas, location and backyard.

The stairs are captain stairs and quite difficult to climb, not suitable for small children or seniors. Also the opening to stairs is right outside the corner bedroom and my sister almost fell, quite dangerous!! My dad who is 89 years old slept in the downstairs bedroom due to stairs. The contact person was out of state and in a 3 hour time difference. We had a couple of issues, toilet leaking and battery in fire alarm at top of stairs kept beeping on and off and the owner asked if we could change it as her team member was an hour away. It was no easy task climbing those stairs with a chair to change battery.
