Room was large and clean, pool was nice and refreshing. Location was smack bang in the middle of everything.
This is a very busy hotel, which I didn’t mind, but sometimes getting in a lift was problematic due to demand.

Everything was good. The location is superb, you are in the heart of the city here and have a straight 500m walk to the beach. Staff are helpful and while the gym was very small, I still could get a decent workout in (dumbells only go to 20kg but you make it work). The pool, laundry service, breakfast buffée, Spa (you pay before they massage you there, so keep that in mind and bring cash) and the general amenities were good. Very good value for the money, and if you go up to the 28th floor you get an amazing view. There was only one complaint I had and I will cover that below, but don't let that discourage you from booking Virgo. It's more in the hopes of the Hotel fixing it.
My only complaint is that when the cleaners make your bed, swap towels etc in the morning, you don't know when they arrive and they don't take your dishes. I had used dishes in my room for all of my last 3 days and /twice/ they even just put them back to look clean. But they were not. I got a little stomach sick only once during my entire Vietnam trip and that was when I used the water boiler on the counter for coffee. So just don't use the cups and glasses is my tip. Things were super tidy and clean in the restaurant at breakfast though, so I think it's just a matter of them not handling dishes during the morning routine properly.

Extended buffet Very nice staff.

The room was big and clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower (water pressure) really good. While the staff was obviously untrained and lacked any language skills whatsoever, many of them tried to smile and be nice.
My stay in Nha Trang was one of the most stressing holidays I've had for a while, and my choice of hotel didn't help. While the room was very OK, it was located on the side of the hotel which faces another equally high building 2 meters away. Your view from the "window" is some concrete wall and somebody else's window. The room could had been 7 stories underground for all the good it did. You couldn't even tell if it is day or night from within the room. The service was clumsy and outright provocative much of the time. The cleaner would knock on the door and rush in 1 second later to catch you naked, and when you threw him out, would not come back to clean the room later. The hotel bar would close exactly 10pm, and even if you are in the middle of the drink, the staff would throw you out on the minute. Not really the level of service I have come to expect on a holiday. The fitness room is small, the saunas were out of operation (this is a common theme in Vietnam, everything is always broken) and the pool area miserable. The pool is located on the 28th floor which sounds nice, but it means it is in the middle of the building - the sun NEVER shines there. Instead you get this cold wind from the sea, which created this weird effect where it was hot and very humid outside on the street level, in the pool area it was always too cold and windy to go to the pool (of course the million Chinese kids didn't think so). The hotel is huge and seems to cater to the Chinese exclusively. Not only are there a lot of rooms, but it seemed that all rooms housed like a half a dozen of them. In the morning you might end up waiting 20 minutes for an elevator you could fit in. The lobby and the breakfast area are playgrounds for hordes of kids who don't seem to have much inhibitions whatsoever. The breakfast has tons of items, but almost nothing a European is willing to eat.
