Sirmione is lovely and we will return but to a less noisy and (a fore us) more spacious accommodation

The location was ideal for us - not downtown but within acceptable walking distance both to the historic old town and to the newer centre of the city. There’s a Coop in the end of the street, which is very handy. It was in a lovely, well maintained area, a 10-minute walk from the closest beach and easily reachable by public transport (bus).

Unfortunately many things. The apartment has potential, but currently, its many small and annoying flaws made our stay less enjoyable (mind you, most of these could have been easily and quickly fixed). 1) It was advertised as an apartment for 4 people - it would work well for 2 adults with 2 small kids but not with teenagers, as one bedroom was very small and only had a bunkbed. 2) The bathroom had several small issues: a) it smelled - it was cleaned to be fair, but the toilet probably leaked, which led to an unpleasant smell, b) the toilet seat was not properly fixed, c) the shower tray had small cracks, d) the silicone was moldy and old. 3) Quite many of the sockets were not working with standard EU plugs. As an example, the hair dryer that came with the apartment could not be plugged into the socket in the bathroom, only in the kitchen. 4) We could not find the iron, though it was supposed to be in the apartment. 5) The main room and master bedroom opened to the street (through a balcony) which is very noisy, especially very early in the morning (5-6:30am), when the trash is being picked up, a very loud exercise. From a public transport perspective, the location is excellent, but this also means that the bus goes on this street (also not quiet). So all in all, unless you are willing to sleep with the terrace door and windows fully closed and the AC on, you are unlikely to get a good night’s sleep while there. 6) The instructions we received for finding the key box were wrong (right or left side + colour).

Sir Ionen ist toll. Die Lage ist fantastisch.

Markt, Coop, Bars, Restaurants und Eiscafés sind zu Fuß erreichbar und ausgezeichnet. Die Bushaltestelle zur historischen Altstadt ist auch sehr nah.

Die Schlüsselübergabe und Standortbeschreibung. Das Kinderzimmer und die Kinderbetten sind klein und unbequem.
