Half-Mi to Big Bear Lake: Modern Home w/ Deck

The inside was new and clean, and it’s a very nice modern house. The owner was also flexible, and since we had a baby, we asked him for an early check-in despite the bad weather. He was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for your understanding, Dan!!! It was our first Big Bear and we all had a great time.

The garage door didn’t open, so when I contacted the owner, he immediately answered n tried to address the issue but still didn't open, and my husband ended up figuring it out manually. The heater in the living room didn't work well and It was a pity that we could not use the fireplace. It was inconvenient for families with children to have to carry garbages to a designated place, but it seems to be a rule of entire Big Bear not only for this accommodation.

Great property that is centrally located to everything. Kitchen was well stocked to be able to cook dinner for family. All in all was a great trip with family and a nice place to call home for a couple of days.

The third bedroom is bunk beds. I have teenage kids that did not fit well in beds, feet hit the bottom of bed and just not comfortable option for teenagers/other adults traveling with you if over 5'8. We had an aero bed with us so one of kids slept on that and other toughed it out on bottom bunk.

Very beautiful accommodations.
