Location - central yet peaceful. Can walk by river in evening. View from balcony overlooking lake/river is beautiful. Staff are fabulous - charming and helpful. Breakfast options were great. On site bistro has great food and drinks

Very soft beds! Functional A/C, fridge, wifi, blackout curtains. Hot water in the showers, and a restaurant with a few options at the hotel. This was the perfect one-day stopover!

From the moment I arrived, I was met with an incredibly warm welcome at this really nice riverside hotel. My room, 206, was fresh, spotless, and exactly as pictured, offering a truly restful stay. The small balcony was great, perfect for drying my swim shorts after a daily dip in the small shaded pool. Breakfast from the à la carte menu was an excellent bonus, adding an easy start to each morning. What truly stood out, however, was the wonderful team of young, enthusiastic staff who looked after me so well throughout my stay.

As my room was just at the top of the stairs from the reception area, there were times when the noise disturbed my lazy mornings, especially as the restaurant is so popular on the weekend. The balcony would have been a nice spot to spend the evening, if only there was a chair out there. I’m sure if I had asked, the team would have provided.
