Nice location, lovely house, bad beds and pillows.

Location was the best, it's not my first time at the Walensee Resort. I love the place, and this time it was a bit more crowded due to the holiday times, but our apt had a wonderful location and view. Comfortable kitchen and living room, beautiful big table as well. In general the apartment is really nice, even though there are some details that are left out which are simple and yet would make the life easier. Example: can opener was missing. Electric oven and microwave as well is provided. Also an electric kettle and a coffee maker (we didn't use it) Catia the girl from the reception was more than helpful in everyway she could. I would say she was one of the best points in our stay.

Beds were not good and pillows even worse. Just imagine a simple couch cushion to sleep and then you can figure out how the pillows were there. Really I had a neck ache every morning. In the end I asked for a normal pillow but it wasn't a good pillow either. This is something that seems to be the same in the whole complex and deserves to be changed according to the prices per night! ! ! Lights in the house need to be changed as some of them are not working. Also a new brush for the floors, another dish-towel, and it would be a great idea to leave salt-olive oil or other stuff so that we don't need to buy everything from scratch. Specially if we are travellers coming from a different country. Another thing I noticed compared to the previous visit , is that there are many people not from the complex wondering around, specially in the beaches and gardens. There is no cleaning of your rooms while you are there, this is why it's important to have good cleaning instruments, we stayed the whole week, and had to buy a lot of cleaning products as well.

Great place with beautiful nature!

Great location and style.

Of the total cost, almost 45% is cleaning fee for a weekend. That corresponds to staff needing 10.5 hours of cleaning and washing after our visit with an already very expensive assumed rate of cleaning at 35CHF per hour. This is unreasonable. Reasonable cleaning cost would be 2-3 hours max which of course accounts for the worst clients as we left the place in top condition.

Great stay at Wallensee

It was a very comfortable place at a great location: near the lake, the gondola and the train station. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely come back if we have a chance.

Superior Walensee

Walking distance to condola to ski. Extremely nice view, not only from mountain but also from balcony. The apartment was spacious and clean. And there was sauna - nice to relax after whole day skiing.

We had apartment which was most far from condola - almost at the limit to walk with skiboots. Keller was used as a skiroom. It was ok, but typically hotels has better facilities for that - if to compare to hotels. Walensee area has nice view - good facilities to any kind of outdoor activities - but no big nor even middle size city services around.

A relaxing stay at a fabulous location

It was a spacious, well equipped and clean apartment. The location was superb, as it was close to the ski lifts and to the train station. We loved the beautiful surroundings and the terrace. The staff was very friendly and a special thanks to Emily for her video promotion of the property. Our group really enjoyed our stay in the Walensee Apartment!

This was our first stay at Walensee House and Apartments - but it won’t be our last!

Excellent lakeside location with very easy access to the skiing pistes of Flumserberg. Pebble beaches, playground, sport field and restaurant made it a perfect place for a family. The staff are friendly and competent.

We had a very comfortable stay with kids for a ski-holiday. The apartment was clean, and everything we needed was already available. The location was great, as it was a 5 min walk to the cable car. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We had a great holiday!

We`ll come again

The accommodation has fully convinced us. Professional as well as helpful warm welcoming at the reception. The staff was always available to answer any excursion questions we had. There is always someone on site 24/7. The apartment was as described and very clean. The view of the mountains and lake from the apartment was indescribable. We can recommend the host and have already booked for the ski vacations 2023 in February.
