The family who own the properties live on the ground floor. Fantastic view of the Adriatic sea from the bedroom and spacious living room. Dine al fresco on the terrace under the stars, watching a magnificent sunset behind the harbor and the Tremiti Islands. Enjoy quiet and peaceful evenings. Ideal for 1-4 persons seeking a relaxing and memorable holiday experience in an unspoilt area and largely untouched by tourism. Explore the surrounding rocky coasts, the millenary forest Foresta Umbra, the salt-lakes of Lesina and Varano, and the protected area of the Tremiti Islands. Privileged starting point for daytrips to the impressive San Michele Sanctuary (in the Middle Ages this was the last stop for pilgrims before sailing for Holy Land), Emperor Frederic II's renowned Castle at Castel del Monte (a unique masterpiece of medieval military architecture), Alberobello famous for its white cone-roofed houses, the Castellana Caves or the amazing Sassi di Matera, where Mel Gibson shot his film Passion of Christ.
