I definitely loved the location!
The shower was definitely smaller than we anticipated. The beds weren’t as comfortable as I hoped. There were also ants in the kitchen.

Many of the homes on Pawley Island are new, or done over, this property still holds the charm of days gone by. The house was huge! Much bigger than our party of two and our three little doggies needed. However, the hosts did know that it was only for the two of us and still was sure to have each room ready for us, so that we were able to pick the room/rooms we wanted. Home is located on the marsh with it's own private dock walkway to enjoy the sunsets, as well as a "widow walk" where my partner was able to take some great photos! About a block from the beach, the location could not be beat! I see many people mentioning the "window unit" air conditioners. This was absolutely no problem whatsoever. In fact, though the temp outside was HOT, I had to put on a sweater inside this cool home. Dave and Lisa were easy to reach and easy to talk to. Furniture was comfy. We were able to sign into our own Netflix account on the TV to watch movies when it rained. The artwork on the walls was local and perfect for the location. Thank you to Lisa and Dave for a wonderful last stop on our vacation!
I think that a binder holding information such as the shortcut to local grocers and such would be a great addition. As well as explaining how to work the remotes, light switches marked, that kind of thing. We explored and found our way around, so it did not impede our short stay at all.

Loved the closeness to the beach and things to do around the area
General upkeep of the property, hole in front screen door, pealing paint on the inside, loose door knobs, small shower, dirty sheets on the one bed, no dishwasher, trash under tv cabinet, trash behind doors
