Lovely and peaceful

This place was a dream and we would be happy to come back some time. We saw the northern lights right from our yard several nights - this just makes aurora hunting so much easier. You can watch the sunsets right from the couch. Time seems to stand still beautifully by the lake there :)

Some of the consumables that are usually provided by accomodations were low on quantity, but the host lives nearby and can helps his guests out in need.

Amazing, cozy traditional log cabin

Fantastic location, lovely host family and amazing log cabin with great views and peacefully located. Fairly close to big town and large supermarkets. Host is very helpful. The log cabin is very warm and cozy with a great sauna and open fire. It's so nice to relax there, sometimes it is hard to make the effort to leave and go skiing! Would also be great for a summer stay as right next to a large lake and good hiking trails. Highly recommended. Just 1 tip for folk driving in when they first arrive. The entrance road is a fairly steep left hand turn, and in winter it helps to switch off the traction control and keep some momentum as you drive in. It's no problem though, and you soon adapt to the frozen roads in Finland

Der var varmt da vi ankom og at der var gratis brænde. Kunne sidde i stuen og se aktiviteter på søen bl.a. slædehunde

Køkkenredskaber var meget slidt.

Mökki oli todella siisti, tunnelmallinen ja rauhallinen. Kauniit maisemat. Käynti sujui helposti ja tarvikkeet oli hyvin saatavilla.

Ainoana miinuksena takka, joka pukkasi savuja sisälle sytyttäessä.
