Spacious Three Bedroom Mountain Villa with Pool

The property was very well presented, welcome packs on arrival, clean tidy and Liz was perfect all the way through from booking to leaving with assistance and questions. Couldnt recommend enough

Great location and a nice traditional comfortable villa with lots of space for all of us and really well stocked. The outside of the villa looks a little in need of repair in places but very chic and in keeping with the area. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool due to water restrictions but it looked great - also had a few issues with power cuts but they were resolved really quickly by the caretaker and hosts. There was also lots of information left by the owners about the village and surrounds which was really helpful. We loved the area - perfect for the Yellow Train, walking and exploring the area. Villefranche and Eus are both a must see and very nearby.

The Villa was exactly as described; spacious for a family of 4, in an amazing location in the mountains and with a lovely swimming pool. The villa was clean and tidy and with all we needed for a family of four . It was a great base from which to explore the local area and some absolutely amazing villages in the mountains with some of the most picturesque landscapes we have seen. Our host Liz responded to every enquiry we made and in particular when there was a small issue with a light in the pool area she arranged to have it resolved within a few hours, what more can you ask. I would highly recommend the Villa to anybody wanting to explore this area of the Pyrenees mountains and the south west French coast

We have previously stayed at this delightful property and could not resist returning there recently for the third time! We just cannot get enough of the peace and serenity that surrounds the property and if you want somewhere to really recharge your batteries then we can definitely recommend staying here. The villa is situated in a very quiet location in the mountains and we delight in sitting on the large patio in the mornings enjoying our breakfast amidst wonderful scenery.The villa is equipped with everything you could need for your holiday with plenty of crockery and cooking utensils and a barbeque with a good supply of charcoal. The pool is always a favourite with our family and it is a really good size as well as having a shallow end for those who just prefer to sit and cool off (great for younger children too). The loungers are plentiful and (more importantly) comfortable enough to nod off in!!The concierge, Laurent is a lovely, helpful man and on hand to help with any problems. We had to call him twice while we were there and he came straight away and resolved our issues very efficiently and quickly. We spent many lazy days by the pool but did manage to drag ourselves away for some lovely days out. Notably, Villefranche De Conflent is a mere 10/15 minutes drive away and great for wandering round doing some souvenir shopping as well as taking in some history and a meal. We drove up to Les Angles and enjoyed some breath-taking scenery en route. Once there we took the cable car part way up the mountain, had a wander then enjoyed a drink in the mountain chalet. The town is pleasant and there are numerous shops for your perusal. The highlight of our trip however was our whale watching trip, booked through Navivoile.com. We had previously been on a dolphin watching trip but really wanted to do the whale watching so we booked it online before our holiday and then prayed that the weather would be good enough to go out in a boat. Luckily all was well and although they dont guarantee that you will see a whale we hit the jackpot and spotted a sperm whale as well as some dolphins! How amazing that was! It was a long day (0900-1900) but well worth the money.There is no shortage of things to do in the surrounding area and we already have a list for next time!Thank you Liz and John for allowing us to share your beautiful villa and thank you for the very welcome gift left for our arrival.
