About this house rental
The Decorah House is perfectly located on the west side of town near the Upper Iowa River and Luther College. Perfect for entertaining, walkable to the river and trail and sleeps 8! Excellent location for all that Decorah has to offer! Our major renovation project was complete in 2018.
Please note there are 4 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms upstairs is "walk thru" meaning it walks through a bedroom to get to the hallway.

Everything about our stay was great. The home has everything a family would need in a great location. I highly recommend and will attempt to use again in the future.

Seven of us stayed in this home. It is large enough to handle that number of people very easily. It is very close to the Upper Iowa River. It is about a 20 minute walk to the Nordic Fest action downtown. However, parking downtown was not too difficult. The property was clean and well cared for.

Wonderful experience: clean, furnished very well, perfect location for many Decorah highlights, pleasant patio (a deer walked through the backyard while we were sitting there) ice machine and fantastic air conditioning (which was extremely important with the heat index over 100 degrees). We so pleased as everything was so comfortable so we could relax and enjoy our son and new daughter in law’s wedding weekend. Would definitely stay again.
