Walk to Shops, Dining & City Park: Reading Apt

Place was very clean and accommodating. The host was very informative and nice. Zero complaints place was clean and comfortable. Felt very much like home away from home would stay here again.

Place was perfect not one single complaint

The hosts are a lovely couple. They lived at the property. They were there when we needed, and not when we didn't :) We had second and third floor of the home all by ourselves and liked the vintage look of the property. The dedicated parking was a great plus. The kitchen had hot plate and plenty of utensils, silverware and cookware available for us to use; More than we needed. Each room had TV in it and we had access to free high speed WiFi.

Can't think of anything which I didn't like.

the elevator takes long and I didn’t feel is fire safe a tall building with so many people and only 2 elevators working. At some point of my stay the fire alarms were on the elevator was taking too long I went downstairs using the stairs. I just felt worried about the risks of that because off the recent fire in a Bronx building.

Location was perfect for our weekend.

Photos didn’t match our stay until questioning the owner then moved to the 3 bedroom - 2 bath option. Was not expecting 2 separate units being on separate floors. Clearly the rooms given to us at first were the ones the owner wanted to rent but it was 2 bedroom and one bath and NOT what we had paid for. We would have been happier in the 2 bed- 1 bath option for less money but I insisted on the size and options we paid for. Quite dated property in the 3 bed - 2 bath option and not as refined as the 2 bedroom - one bath. Also there were visible mouse traps throughout the units and the door to the upstairs could NOT be secured and locked which is a huge issue that should never be. Clearly the owners need to fix these issues if they want good reviews and for the money that was spent which wasn’t cheap.
