Perfect spot to enjoy cool vibes in an chilled atmosphere, while being in a beautiful bay which is perfect to learn surfing. Unawatuna & Galle with lots of additional restaurants is just a 15 minute ride away.

Location is nice if you want to stay in the hotel. The beach front has quite a nice strip of bars etc, and the hotel is directly on the beach front. Nice vibe to the place, chill surf paradise. Surf boards available, rooms have a nice view and are spacious. Food on site was of good quality.

When turning up after booking weeks in advance, was told that they were already fully booked and didn't have our reservation. I Showed them confirmation of my booking, they just shrugged their shoulders. No apologies made. Just reiterated that they were full. Just left waiting outside with our suitcases. Then a member of staff mentions that they think someone is checking out soon, so "may" give us their room. (This was at 5:30pm.. so checkouts should have been earlier?) Left waiting again. No drinks or food offered while we wait. Just put a real downer on the whole experience, and the staff made me feel uncomfortable like it was my fault that we had turned up to spend money in their hotel. Rest of the stay I felt quite unwelcome, like I had put them out by waiting for the room that I had booked to be ready.
