This cabin by the river exceeded our expectations for a no-frills stay in Aurland. While not fancy, it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The outdoor patio with a river view made it memorable.
Without a car, it is a bit of a walk from town, and we encountered a challenge with the Norway Best shuttle system. Not a fault of the property, but good to know if you're going to be relying on public transit!

Warm, stream outside front door, mountain views, clean enough, staff friendly with great walking trail options.
It was budget accommodation so it was budgety. Can’t fault that really.

Beautiful location by a river. Very clean shared bathroom facilities. Friendly staff. Cabins have enough kitchen gear to self-cater. You can walk to Aurland easily. There is a bus stop outside the campground if you want to catch the bus to town.

We loved the location, although it is sandwiched between two road and a river the impact was minimal. You are in the middle of stunning scenery and it was a pleasant 15min walk to Aurland which itself was charming and lovely compared to the extreme busyness of Flam. The village bistro was lovely, good food and reasonable prices. The ferry pick up was handy and we also visited stegastein which was impressive.
The bunk beds are what they are but not ideal for couples. The bathroom although a little dated had a great shower, very hot water be careful as there are no warning signs. The kitchen was basic but usable
