Nice apartments for its price, with beautiful terrace

Property had good outdoor area with a barbecue space.
It was a short walk to the beach.
The living area was quite large, but it was nice to have a dining table outside.
It had an oven, microwave, fridge, hob and washing machine - so all the equipment you really need.
Host was nice and allowed us to use her garage to park our car which was a great bonus.
- the property needs some love and care, everything in there is old and you can clearly see old dust/dirt on some shelves or behind items
- the aircon is only in living area, no aircon in the bedrooms , making sleeping quite uncomfortable
- we had ant infestation in the kitchen that has later moved to the bathroom
- the decor needs refreshing, everything is quite outdated, plus as a non religious person, the excessive religious memorabilia were a bit of an eyesore and did not feel appropriate for a holiday let.
- no amenities provided except for soap and dishwasher tablets - make sure you buy your own tea, coffee, sugar, shower gel, cooking oil etc etc
- apartment is quite dark, generally lacking natural light
- I know we have stayed in peak time but can’t help to feel like we have paid too much for the quality of the stay we had, as the apartment was lacking small details that show a level of care that a holiday let should show.
