Excellent location and space for families. The hosts were fantastic and accommodating. The only concern was the road construction right out front that made it a little challenging to maneuver.

Our mornings and evenings were as peaceful as they could be with four kiddos. We took advantage of the boardgames in the home too and had lots of family fun!

The suite is very cute and cozy! The only complaint I have is that one of the bedrooms is listed as "very private"--however, the two bedrooms share a window that has been covered with wood. As a result, our littlest guy could easily be heard by our teens in the bedroom next to us--waking them up earlier than preferred--which didn't feel as "private" as we'd hoped. Otherwise it was lovely! So many great books there, beautiful location, and responsive and kind hosts. The fireplace is gorgeous, too.

This is a clean, tidy, cozy suite very well located, near Cadboro Bay. The owner/manager was very kind, responsive and accommodating. The suite has a great little kitchenette but lacks a table and chairs to eat at (there's no room). I would definitely rent again!

We had a wonderful two-day stay at this property! It was exceptionally clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The privacy was excellent, and Barry and Jane were incredibly considerate and easy to communicate with. Their attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free getaway!

This place was perfect for my UVIC student daughter and I. We enjoyed this wonderful apartment. We enjoyed baking cookies and watching Christmas movie by the fire place. She could walked across the street to go to school. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to cook. Would love to come back again soon

The accommodation was very quaint. It is a basement walk out suite. Cozy and clean. Rustic furniture. The issue I had was getting my luggage into the suite as you go around the side and it is dirt and soil. Therefore, I had to carry my luggage for about 20 ft. I also had to ensure my shoes were clean and had to wash them as it rained for a day and it soiled my shoes. The upstairs (to the owners living area) is separated by a curtain. However, overall it was nice. Very convenient to UVIC. I didn't have to pay for parking.

I found the apartment charming and the location was perfect for me, close to UVic. The bed was super comfortable, the air conditioning was a real plus, and there was an abundance of white fluffy towels in the bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped although no dishwasher. I did find the stone steps down to the unpaved path to the back of the house where the apartment is located to be a little challenging especially with luggage but managed it and figured out how to back into the parking space. Overall I was quite satisfied with my stay, Barry and Jane were very accommodating and I would return in the future.

I arrived to find small bugs crawling on the wall above the kitchen counter. The bugs all seemed to be coming in via the outlet by the coffee machine. It is a small counter, small kitchen, so the bugs in this limited area was very uncomfortable. I left and had to find another place to stay. The owner welcomed me back after the bugs were cleaned. They reported it was due to being in the rain forest. This was a day later and I had already found a new place to stay. This was very expensive, no refund. Disappointing.

We stayed for a tournament at UVic and it worked out great. Easy walk to the campus and also to shops and a grocery store. Also a park with water access. The location was ideal and the basement apartment was clean and well furnished. Beds are very comfortable, the pullout is a queen size. About a 20 minute drive into main Victoria tourist area. The yard is not fenced but there are lots of places to walk the dog.

This unit was perfect for our trip to take our daughter to university. As they said in the listing, it is literally right across from some of the residences on campus. It was very clean, well equipped and maintained and there was a pretty backyard sitting area that is covered. The host was very pleasant and communicated quickly on anything we needed to discuss.

The location right next to UVic was perfect for us. It is an easy walk down the hill to Cadboro Bay, the beach, grocery store, cafe, and a nice restaurant (Thai Lemongrass). Be aware that this is a basement suite. It was clean and quiet, nicely finished with a well equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. Good value for a reasonable price. We would stay here again. If anything, the apartment was nicer than the listing led me to believe. Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Instructions were clear, communication with the host good, and the back deck is beautiful. A 12-minute walk to the UVic central campus, and ten minutes to shopping and dining. City bus stop nearby. The location was great it was near the university and near the beach. The place is very tastefully decorated, welcoming and comfortable. The outside sitting area is a lovely added touch. It is very quiet and private and I would highly recommend it. The hosts are easy to communicate with and respond in a timely manner.
