Catch sunrise at the beach and sunset on the river. In the heart of Melbourne Beach, just 3 blocks to everything in town. Great high end and casual restaurants, a gourmet market, beachfront bar & grill, tennis and bocce courts as well as many local businesses and amenities are all within walking distance.
Pelican Pad is a beach themed 4 bedroom, 3 full bath private home with a private solar heated pool and is located on a quiet corner lot with a private backyard. Includes a grill, covered lanai, patio furniture, lounge chairs and all the amenities of home. Pelican Pad can accommodate up to 8 people with 2 king bedroom suites, 1 queen bedroom and a 2 twin bedroom that share a full bath. Pelican Pad boasts a fully equipped kitchen, keyless entry, full laundry facilities, free wi-fi with streaming capabilities, beach towels, beach chairs and a beach wagon. Large great room and a circular drive with parking for up to 4 cars.
Melbourne Beach is a barrier island that is close to Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach and Vero Beach. Just 75 miles to Orland attractions and the Orlando airport and 7 miles to Melbourne International airport. Supermarkets, big box stores, medical/hospital facilities, and restaurants galore are all within a few miles. Check out the flair of Old Melbourne with it's unique shops and local establishments. See a rocket launch from our beach or make a short drive to Cape Canaveral for an up close experience.

We rented the house for a party of 6 of us including 2 teenaged girls for Memorial Day weekend and had a fantastic time. The house is one block off the beach in a beautiful old part of old Melbourne beach. 2 of us are Orlando natives so quite familiar with the area and beaches, and that it is turtle nesting season. Our first night we saw a loggerhead turtle the size of a Honda civic at 9pm, low tide! Unheard of craziness! The rips were tough, the waves were heavy, but the pool was pristine, warm, and always ready. The house had literally everything you could think of, my husband the retired Chef approved. He especially appreciated the double oven and having little things like containers for leftovers and Saran Wrap, but did note that all the PFA non-stick coated pans were scratched from using metal utensils and should not be used (not the house’s fault but please consider removing). I reached out to the owner Greg because we couldn’t get the Roku TV to work, he invited us to bypass it and was very understanding and accommodating about it (ps that’s exactly what we did). He also let us know that the ice maker didn’t seem to work and he personally picked up a bag of ice for us, that was so kind and appreciated - we definitely used it!There is nothing negative to say about the house, however I will say having the cleaning person show up 20 min early and hover in the driveway seems unprofessional, but we understand it’s Memorial Day and she likely wanted to enjoy her day.

This is the fourth time we've stayed here and it still is a wonderful experience. Each time it feels like our second home.Greg is an outstanding host/owner and treats us like we're part of his circle of friends. We can't wait till our next visit.

This property is simply amazing. Has a great Florida feel. The pool is clean and refreshing and only a short walk to the beach and the fabulous ocean. Our host Greg was very accommodating and very attentive. He responded quickly with any questions not that we had a lot. I would definitely recommend and will definitely stay here in the future. Thank you for a fabulous stay!!
