The suite was delightfully provisioned with cooking implements and fresh food stuffs. Lovely! We were able to make our own light dinner and breakfast on site. There was a clothes washer and line for drying, which was timely and worked as well as modern EU "efficient" appliance can be expected. The person greeting us - the son of the owner - was personable and helpful. The site was well maintained, with an excellent view. The chickens were a hoot - literally. We didn't end up using the pool, but it looked wonderful. The patio was well equipped with furniture. The location on the Camino de Santiago was ideal. Only place that had some beer in the fridge, which was much appreciated.
The unit itself only had a view of the parking area, and was on/in the basement level (photo included in this review). There was plenty of light, but for the money no view unless we went up to the pool level, where there was plentiful seating. This was by far the most expensive of our AL stays, topping even a "Grand Hotel" by a beach. For the price, a better "wake up and see the view" window would have been appreciated. Extra hooks or other horizontal landing space in the WC/bath would have been helpful. The WiFi setup was fiddly; the password was slightly wrong, and it required an extra bit of info (our booking.com reservation #) to "log in" fully.
