The holiday accommodation was thoughtfully and stylishly decorated throughout. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, providing the perfect space to relax, and the hosts were most helpful from start to finish

10-15 minutes walk to the town centre, another 15 minutes to the castle

Greeted at the door by Andrew who had fabulous local information to share with us about the city and some dining options. So lovely to explore the medieval walled town. Fabulous space in our room with a great large shower. Lovely outdoor garden space.

Andrew and Karen were warm and welcoming, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, including a living room. Breakfast was just right.The neighborhood was also quiet. A highlight of our stays on our trip.

We had a very comfortable stay in this tastefully furnished house, situated in a quiet area of Carcassonne. The house was very clean throughout, hot water was plentiful, and the property had a lovely garden. The addition of a fridge that guests could use was an added bonus. The hosts Andrew and Karen, are fabulous, and extremely helpful with suggestions of where to visit, and suitable and varied eateries in the city all of which were excellent value for money. A good breakfast was provided, and the coffee was good too . We particularly enjoyed visiting the Carcassonne castle, the small French military museum just outside the medieval city walls( very interesting and many exhibits for a small museum) , the Gouffre Geant de Cabrespine, and the artisan vinaigrerie at Lagrasse. Also enjoyed the ease of being able to travel to Narbonne and Béziers by train. Thank you Andrew and Karen - we thoroughly enjoyed staying in your beautiful property, and exploring the local area. We would certainly want to stay again should we return SW France.
