About this villa rental
A vacation home that was once a family home, nestled in the beautiful Sierra Almijara mountains, belongs to the Cómpeta region, in the province of Málaga, Andalusia.
The cottage has been restored, preserving its traditional charm, its thick walls, and its rustic style. Throughout the rooms, wood of various shapes and warm colors prevail, giving it a discreet and friendly atmosphere. The exterior is dominated by stone, which blends harmoniously with flowers and vines. The cottage blends the traditional construction style of the area with modern amenities, so you can feel happy and enjoy these days in total comfort.
Upon entering the cottage, you'll find its spacious living room. A little further on, you'll find the kitchen-diner, from which you'll have direct access to the spectacular terrace that awaits you every morning to offer you the best views of the Axarquía while you enjoy your coffee. It also has three bedrooms, two with double beds and the other with two single beds. Two bathrooms, one en suite with a shower and the other separate with a bathtub. Equipped with a fireplace, washing machine, satellite TV, etc.
All bedrooms and the living room have hot/cold air conditioning (charges apply for €30/night).
Outside the cottage is the swimming pool, a large porch, a barbecue, and a parking area. The property is not fenced.
The road to the cottage is paved; the last 300 meters of the lane are winding and steep, typical of the mountainous area where the house is located. Cómpeta is 4.5 km away.
It's inevitable that you'll lean out onto your terrace to enjoy the Mediterranean Sea horizon and let your gaze linger on the splendid vegetation of olive, almond, and vine trees. At this point, I recommend you take a deep breath and let that scent of the countryside penetrate your senses, and you'll feel your inner voice whisper: "This is life!"

Das Ferienhaus hat eine wunderbare Aussicht, die Anfahrt ist leider steil und schlecht bzw. nicht gut befestigt. Man überlegt sich zweimal ob man einen Ausflug macht oder schnell was einkaufen geht. Es ist zu empfehlen sich vor der Anreise im Supermarkt einzudecken. Wer das macht, kann sich auf eine geruhsame Zeit am Haus und Pool einstellen, wir haben uns sehr gut erholt. Die Fahrtzeit nach Competa beträgt ca. 25 Minuten da man sehr vorsichtig fahren sollte. Das Haus war sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Lediglich ein Fön fehlte. Wer mit Hund reist muss sich darauf einstellen, das die Spaziergänge steil bergauf bzw. bergab gehen, aber es ist machbar.
Das handling durch die Agentur in Competa war ausgesprochen freundlich und unkompliziert, Danke an Martina.
Die Ferienhäuser liegen so am Hang, das jedes Haus absolute Privatsphäre genießt.
Sehr schön war auch, das der Pool trotz Reise im März schon gepflegt wurde durch die Agentur und wir den Pool zur Abkühlung und kurzem schwimmen bereits nutzen konnten.
Wir haben unsere Tochter als Besucher nachgemeldet, die uns besuchen wollte, auch das war gegen einen Aufpreis möglich.
Zur Anfahrt möchte ich noch anmerken, das wir eine Mercedes E Klasse fahren mit Sportfahrwerk/ Avantgard. Wir haben damit nicht aufgesetzt, auch ein tiefergelegtes Fahrzeug kann den Hang befahren. Bei der Einfahrt und Ausfahrt zur Finca muss man hin und her rangieren, aber machbar.

Genossen die Ruhe dieser wunderschönen Lage in den Bergen und doch innerhalb einer halben Stunde am Strand. Die Straße zur Hütte ist nichts für Fahranfänger, eng und steil, aber die Lage macht es mehr als wert. Atemberaubende Aussicht bei klarem und bewölktem Himmel. Das Cottage ist einfach, wie Sie es von einem Cortigo erwarten würden, aber komplett ausgestattet.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Zeer mooi huis in een nog mooiere omgeving. Alles was zoals beschreven en getoond op de foto,s. We hebben er erg van genoten. De weg naar het huis is spectaculair maar vergt ook een ervaren chauffeur, maar als je er bent geniet dan vooral van de rust die de mooie omgeving en het huis te bieden heeft
