About this cottage rental
Welcome to Hagablänket - a newly built house in the middle of scenic Smålands Garden! Close to Astrid Lindgren's world, High Chaparall and Glasriket. The house has up to 17 beds + two cots and large areas to hang out on. The house is located in the middle of the forest with only 100 meters to the lake. It is possible to swim and rent a boat for fishing. A further 5 swimming spots are within 15 kilometers. Ideal for several generations or families, good friends who want peace and quiet and live in the same house. The beds are bedded with white sheets upon arrival! The entire upstairs with the Loft and Rännet as well as the Logen on the ground floor is only used by the tenants. In addition, there is a smaller service part directly adjacent to the lodge. It can be used by our guests if needed. There is a washing machine, utility room, an additional kitchen and access to an extra toilet with changing table and shower. Look at the pictures and drawings and come back if you have any questions!
The cost for boat is EUR 140/week and the cost for canoe is EUR 140/week.
Be aware that in the summer we change guests at saturdays in this house.

We stayed at Hagablänket (Skogslugnet house) this July 2022 with 4 families, altogether 14 people. We enjoyed the place a lot. It is quiet, and you just walk about 100 m to the lake. If you have smaller children that you have to watch out for, it is much safer as with houses that are directly on the lake.
For us as a larger group, we need facilities such as a good kitchen, which really is the case. It is big enough and you we didn't actually miss any kitchen equipment. The table(s) are big enough, there is also one big one outside.
The hosts are friendly and very helpful. They are active Christians, so do not be surprised about the books and leaflets that you will find in the house.
What we advise guests to ask before booking are the extra costs for final cleaning and wireless internet. We payed SEK 5500 for the final cleanup (the complete house). You have the option to do the final cleanup yourselves, but that is a lot of work - maybe you consider it then only for the upper floor which is easier.
The hosts have to book data packages for internet if you really want it, which makes it more expensive than on more "crowded" resorts.

Wir haben das Ferienhaus für unsere Hochzeit in Schweden genutzt. Schon mit dem ersten Kontakt, den wir mit den Vermieter hatten, war uns klar, dass wir für unser Vorhaben die perfekte Unterkunft für uns und alle Gäste gefunden haben. Die Lage des Objektes eingebettet mitten im Wald und in direkter Nähe zum See waren einfach traumhaft. Zusätzlich waren die Vermieter eine wahnsinnig große Unterstützung bei der Umsetzung der Hochzeit. Sei es Catering, Fotograf oder Frisör. Es wurden Kontakte vermittelt und auch erste Vorgespräche mit der Kommune geführt. Weiterhin konnte die Vermieterin als ausgebildete Floristen mit wunderschönen Blumenschmuck alles nach unseren Wünschen verschönern und begleitete die Trauung zusammen mit ihrer Tochter auch noch musikalisch. Zudem konnten wir die Trauung auch noch an einer traumhaften Stelle auf dem Gelände duchführen. Wir können gar nicht alles, was wir da erlebt haben in eine kurze Bewertung packen.
Wir sind restlos von der Unterkunft an sich begeistert und haben uns durch, den liebevollen Support den wir durch die Vermieter bekommen haben, sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Es war einfach alles Perfekt!!! Wir werden defintiv wiederkommen.

Ein super Ort um naturnah auszuspannen. Im Haus finden bis zu drei Familien Platz. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und bemüht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen.
Etwas schade ist, dass es kein W-Lan gibt.
