About this cottage rental
Picturesque lake front Cottage with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. Rustic decor for that cozy cabin feel, with beautiful views of Big Stone lake. 100 feet of waterfront on almost 1/2 acre lot on dead end road. Kitchen with all cooking and eating utensils supplied. All linens and bath towels provided. Open dining area to seat 6 comfortably, eat, visit and play games. Living room area with couch, 2 reclining chairs, and daybed, along with stone fireplace, wireless internet, Apple TV with Spectrum Cable hooked up and DVD player. 2 bedrooms on main level, 1 queen bed, 1 full size bed. 3rd bedroom in the walk-out basement with full sized bed, bunk beds and couch; along with washer and dryer.
Aluminum dock for water access. Crystal clear water with gradual access to water. Pebble/sand/rocky bottom, no weeds. Fire pit with firewood provided.
Within walking distance to Stone Lake township where you will find multiple restaurants and bars, wine house, and Dollar Store for your convenience. Minutes away from well known Pine Ridge restaurant.
15 minutes away from Hayward and Sevenwinds Casino.
Approximately 2 hours from Minneapolis/St Paul, and 4 hours north from Madison WI.
During winter months renters may have to shovel walkway up to house. We will provide shovel. We will do our best to maintain this but are not local to do it routinely.

Great up north place to stay right on the lake. Lots of great amenities. Although I would suggest moving the swimming raft out into deeper water. It's only in about 4 feet of water and is dangerous to jump off of.

We had a great stay again this year !! The cabin is equipped with everything we needed and the host was accessible and responsive. The quiet lake made for a peaceful getaway, and sunsets were absolutely beautiful.

This property location was excellent. Close to downtown (we loved everything it had to offer) and the boat landing. Check in/out was very easy and the communication with the host was excellent. The property was cozy. With a few updates (carpet replacement, bathroom updates, and adding a downstairs bathroom) this property could be excellent. Regarding the fishing, we didn't have much luck but it was extremely windy the entire three days of our stay and the water is so clear that fish can see you coming from miles away. Also, for those that sleep lightly, make sure you have white noise to drown out the trains during the night.
